Welcome Dr. Aco Jovanov to CMH & Pinnacle Primary Care

We are excited to share news from Pinnacle Primary Care, part of the Wilmington Physicians Group. As part of our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional, patient-centered care and expanding access to high-quality healthcare in our community, we are pleased to welcome Dr. Aco Jovanov, MD, DABFM, to our team of dedicated providers.

Dr. Jovanov is a board-certified family physician with more than 20 years of experience in Family Medicine. He is licensed in Ohio and is known for his compassionate approach to care, with professional interests in preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and quality assurance—all focused on improving patient outcomes.

He completed his Family Medicine Residency at Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio, and later served as a supervising attending and preceptor, mentoring the next generation of physicians. His background also includes experience in urgent care and emergency medicine at Wayne Hospital.

Dr. Jovanov’s journey in medicine is deeply rooted in community and service. He grew up working alongside his parents on their family farm, where he developed a lifelong appreciation for hard work, connection, and care. Now, after years in private practice, he is excited to return to the small-town community life he loves and to continue making a difference in the lives of his patients.

Outside of work, Dr. Jovanov enjoys spending time in the garden and staying active by playing soccer and tennis—hobbies that reflect his balanced and thoughtful approach to wellness.

Beginning June 9, 2025, Dr. Jovanov will begin seeing patients at Pinnacle Primary Care. Whether you are a current patient or new to our practice, we are confident you will appreciate his expertise, warmth, and dedication to individualized care.
