Dr. Daniel Mwanza is the general surgeon who practices at Surgical Associates of Southwest Ohio.

A general surgeon is a physician specifically trained to use various surgical procedures for the treatment of injuries and disease. They can perform many types of surgery, including those involving internal organs such as the stomach, gallbladder and intestines, as well as procedures involving the breasts, arteries, veins and skin.

Dr. Mwanza performs a variety of surgical procedures and treatments, including hernia, ulcer and reflux repair, gallbladder and colon removal, breast and lung biopsies and varicose vein stripping.
