Cardiac Services
Clinton Memorial Hospital began performing low-risk cardiac catheterization
in 2004. During this medical procedure, a thin hollow tube called
a catheter is inserted into the patient’s groin. Dye is injected
into the tube, and x-rays are taken to see if there are any blockages.
Clinton Memorial Hospital provides a state-of-the-art cardiac care facility with a full range of cardiovascular services from diagnosis to treatment. The Cardiac Services team consists of highly skilled and experienced physicians, nurses and technicians.
CMH comprehensive cardiac diagnostic services include:
- Blood pressure monitoring
- Echocardiography
- EEGs
- Stress testing (including echocardiography, exercise and pharmacologic)
- Electrocardiography
- Holter Monitoring
- Vascular Doppler Studies
The cardiac catherization lab offers the latest technology for diagnosis and treatment of cardiac disorders through minimally-invasive techniques.
