Family Medicine Residency Program Physicians
During your hospital stay, you may be seen by a resident physician from
the CMH Family Medicine Residency Program. Residents are physicians who
have graduated from medical school and are specializing in family medicine.
These physicians will complete a three year residency here to gain additional
skills and confidence as physicians before becoming independent physicians.
During this time they are supervised by a group of physicians, their preceptors, practicing at CMH and affiliated with the University of Cincinnati Department of Family Medicine. We train up to 12 residents each year here at Clinton Memorial Hospital. These resident physicians and their supervising preceptors are committed to working with your regular physician to give you the best quality medical care.
