National Wear Red Day On February 3
In support for women's heart health, CMH Regional Health System is encouraging its staff and others to wear red Friday, Feb. 3, in observance of National Wear Red Day®.
This observance promotes the Red Dress symbol and provides an opportunity for everyone to unite in The Heart Truth's® life-saving awareness-to-action movement by putting on a favorite red dress, red shirt, red tie, or Red Dress Pin. Heart disease is the No. 1 killer of women.
The National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute, the Office on Women's Health, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and many other groups support National Wear Red Day efforts across the country.
National Wear Red Day is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the American Heart Association.
